Hummingbird Wings -> A letter to my true friends

truth is what i’m searching for

i hope you feel it

i was given a platform with no choice

but to begin on my knees

then walk with new eyes and ears 

then run and move

equaling 5 and a half trips around the earth 

over 24 round trips across ‘Merica

hanging out with Jesus, and my soul party 

now it feels like time to rest

excited for what’s next

patience

slow down

Tortuga

move like a jellyfish

go with the flow, but don’t stop 

leading with my heart, my soul, and then my mind

at a certain point of our lives, things become a bit clearer

for those who specifically ask for what they want

and who know where to direct the questions 

singing and dancing with the highest heavens

but starting over has no roadmap

it’s a lonely road 

where each mile uncovers layers of divine mystery

but we must take it

following those screams in chants only felt not heard.  

felt.   not heard.  

no wings

only feathers on earth. 

so we have no choice but to listen. 

go.  

listen. 

solitude found through discernment of the most high

where silence amplifies the whispers of the divine 

the reason why words are so important 

especially when you speak them

is because you speak truth

relieving those trapped in lies wrapped in  solitary false realities 

through love.

through integrity

through love

through light

through love

and through darkness

always wrapped in love

the thing we all want to give, and to receive

the only thing we truly need

love 

you are destined for the mountaintop

you can see it, and feel it in your soul

you can Hear him calling you by name

a flowing river through your soul every day

green and yellow grass overgrown blowing lightly in the mid day breeze 

wildflowers strewn throughout every drawn breath

with the elements as gifts from the stars 

most importantly

you are surrounded by those who look to you

especially when you aren’t looking  

to lead

to laugh

to love

always forgiving

copius forgiveness. 

listening with two ears 

saying names out loud

screaming them when required

You are a true friend 

immense gratitude from my uncontrollable flaming heart

just one person is all it takes.  

just one who wishes blessings upon you in passing moments that detach from time itself

just one of those 

makes you hummingbirds wings 

as your love grows 

His kingdom grows

as does the light all round us

across unknown galaxies and light transmitted from beyond the hubble sphere

which requires renaming since we have found the key to the cage

always remembering Eden is in the east

awaiting the next terrestrial gamma ray flash

finally realizing our earth is but a conduit to the needs of the universe

and we are a conduit to nature

opening the door to His kingdom

the return to the temple found only inside you 

built upon a personal relationship 

a foundation of love not bricks

a cosmology untied from clocks

spanning distances we are just discovering

destroying all we thought we knew. 

again.  and again.  and again

so we eat our humble pie

listening only to those willing to take a bite

so we can return to our ancestral beginnings 

while using what we need provided by new earthly leaders without heartbeats 

but always through and from us

all of us.   

every letter typed.  

our knowledge 

our choices

our conversations

our earthly human secrets 

you are surrounded by love

that brings unsurpassed peace to both Him, and to my heart

death. resurrection.  ascension. 

all we need to be the light to join the sparks that began long ago

i’m here for you

always.   all ways.  

helping one another to be all we are created to be
