We live in past tents

your version of reality is slightly outdated

stare up at the moon.  

the light you see is from 1.3 seconds ago.  

even the light from your reflection is you in the past. 

the closer you get to someone the shorter the light delay.  

make sure light is joining light. 

as the two galaxies explained just sentences away.  

things on earth are all in the past tense.  

billionth of a second and all.  

or 10 nanoseconds if you prefer.   

but every word spoken.  

even those you weren’t listening to.

every flicker of light.  

every sound.  

even those you didn’t hear.  

all originate in the immutable past.  

an illusion. 

the only place your heart can break more

than once.   

the only one we can still see when we close our eyes.  

but when we peer into the light of these galaxies.  

and everything beyond the beyond. 

and then beyond that.   

we are seeing a glimpse of the far far far far mind boggling past.  

the unfolding of a story long ago. 

played out in this moment.   

in this time.  

for us. 

for our eyes that capture ten percent. 

using instruments for ultraviolet, infrared, gamma ray. 

finding out gamma rays burst from earth’s fiercest storms. 

doing our part.

flinging them into space to join His story.  

then we wake up and somehow pretend we know how it all works.

and now rely on AI to fill in the gaps of the past.  

what our human eyes and ears missed. 

we’ve always been blind.

it’s just right now we have the opportunity to see.  

a tiny glimpse of all the light we can not see.  spiritual battles currently unfolding for future generations.  

on an incomprehensible timeframe

surpassing our 24 hour human understanding.  

a story that only He understands the when of the end.   

only Him. 

thank God for that.   

the only present moment is with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.   

conversations where time doesn't exist.  

flowing through us like a cool river current.  

one you simply can't ignore

one that vibrates the cells. 

like true music to your ears.  

one that can only come from Him.  

one that gets easier to understand on the equilibrium of faith.  

a never ending pursuit of truth and joy. 

leading with humility and gratitude.   

what a time to be alive.   

for those that are untethering from the unconscious training that put you here. 

like a roll of yarn dropped from the andromeda galaxy.  

a trillion stars 2.5 million light years away. 

one day peacefully joining our own galaxy.  

Milkdromeda.  Andromilky.   

on this path. 

the one only built for you. 

and only for you.  

ending as we began.
