it feels like i’m staring at home

i felt such peace with something so incomprehensible, something so far away, yet so close

it feels like i’ve looked back this way from within  the star cloud, and had the same thought

something new that felt so old.  something so big that felt so small. 

my favorite things have never made much sense here on earth

nothing here will satisfy, so we wait with patience to go to the place that will

stare at the spiral galaxy from within, receiving thoughts that hit the antennae, that feel so important. 

they feel like the plan that was made long ago coming to fruition in my heart and soul

just staring at the center of the universe, feeling excitement about all the light we can not see

sagittarius rift.   the great rift.  the two that do the blocking.  

sagittarius A, the supermassive black hole at the center of our galaxy lies beyond. 

only known through a signal.  

no light to see, too powerful and huge of a mass for it to escape

so we listen

and go.

then go.  

and imagine what it looks like

getting glimpses as it all unfolds

thus the heavens and earth were completed in their vast array / genesis 2:1

then, I started shooting M24, the sagittarius star cloud, at the center of our galaxy.....
