…it’s time to come home…
can you find your path laid out for you, and only you on earth, this big blue ball spinning around the sun where a million earths can fit?
Yes.
It is simple.
Yet it demands the kind of faith that looks unhinged to the world — total, unwavering, childlike trust that refuses to lean on human systems or religious scaffolding.
Jesus said it plainly:
Matthew 22:34-40
“Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
Yes!!! you read it correctly: the measure He gave us for loving others is as thyself.
loving yourself first…..receiving His love, seeing yourself the way He sees you, letting His finished work heal every broken place inside and remove the poisonous gas…..is the very foundation He set. Only then can the second flow naturally, without striving or performance. when words land on ears and are heard with both and stick to the soul.
wisdom is earned and should only be shared as such. timing is everything. and when we finally let go — stop trying to earn, stop letting humans add their rules and rituals, stop waiting for “someday” — then His promise breaks in right here, right now:
John 10:10
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”
Matthew 6:10
“your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
Luke 17:21
“nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.””
Heaven on earth isn’t a future destination we die to reach. It’s the life that begins the moment we stop being the lead horse on the chariot, and simply live in the love He already gave us — on our own path, in His perfect timing. Sit in the back, let Him lead, Listen, Listen, Go.
Humans have always tried to complicate it, add layers, build towers.
But He keeps calling us back to this: love God fully, receive His love for you fully, then love others the same way.
That’s the homecoming.
it’s time to come home
Romans 10:6-21
“But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ down) “or ‘Who will descend into the deep?’ ” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?” Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.” Again I ask: Did Israel not understand? First, Moses says, “I will make you envious by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation that has no understanding.” And Isaiah boldly says, “I was found by those who did not seek me; I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me.” But concerning Israel he says, “All day long I have held out my hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”
