Which stone will drop?

“Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.”

•  The black stone (petrified wood) = the old life, the old nature, the old verdict. Once alive (a tree), now hardened, dark, dead, heavy, stuck in the past. That’s what we were without Christ — petrified in sin, under the sentence of death (Romans 6:23, “the wages of sin is death”). It’s the old man, the old system, Babylon’s weight, the black pebble of condemnation.     

•  The white stone = the new verdict Jesus just promised you in Revelation 2:17. Light. Clean. Acquitted. A new name. Hidden manna. Victory ticket. Intimate belonging. Smooth where the black one is rough. Translucent where the black one is opaque. New where the old was ancient and dead.

The black one reminds you where you came from.

The white one reminds you who you are now — and where you’re going.

Live like your ancestors. timing is everything.   when the One who is victorious over everything and everyone that light touches, and in the darkest places in our universe, arrives….which stone will drop?
